Clinical expertise, whole person care, and a calm environment built around real recovery.
I started BetterMe because people deserve better
Working in the NHS for many years, I saw first hand how challenging it can be to deliver the level of care people truly need within the constraints of the system. Appointments are often limited, waiting times can be long, and it is difficult to explore everything contributing to someone's pain within those boundaries.
I could also relate personally. I have experienced persistent pain myself, and I know how much things like stress, anxiety and poor sleep affect how your body feels. That is when it clicked: pain is not just physical. But there often is not the time or space to explore that full picture properly.
That did not sit right with me. It keeps people stuck in a cycle of quick fixes and no progress. So I wanted to create something different. A space where people feel properly listened to and fully supported, where we look beyond the symptoms and help you make sense of your pain in a way that actually lasts.

What makes the approach different
He listens first
Most appointments start with a proper conversation rather than a rushed assessment. Understanding your story matters as much as examining your body.
He treats the whole person
Pain does not exist in isolation. Sleep, stress, movement habits and life circumstances all play a role, and all get looked at.
He gives you a plan that makes sense
No vague advice. No generic exercises printed from a sheet. Everything explained clearly and tailored to your life.
“Most people I work with have already tried exercises, treatments and quick fixes that did not last. My focus is helping you break that cycle, not by relying on ongoing appointments, but by giving you a clear plan and the tools to manage things long term and feel more in control of your body again.”
